Nice ride!  I am interested in your impression of the trx7 pipe.  I'm leaning towards one as most of my riding is trail/woods but I don't want to loose all my topend.

As soon as I get it out on the trail, I will let you know.  Im hoping its close to the description, lots of low end torque, and not much loss of the top end.  With the Powervalve and 110 Racegas, Im hoping its awesome!!

Looks awesome man!! Great work!! Any chance you can post a pic of the underside of the hood and where it mounts to senders?  Those are Maier 2 piece fronts correct?

That bike was built here on the forum. Or maybe it was back in the .net days. he did sell it very shortly after completing the build. It was built for his wife or girlfriends if i remember correctly.
I ride PINNED! Therefore, no bdt in this household.

Ill try to grab a pic next time I pull the fender off, and yes they are majer fronts.  It has speed clips that screw in from the bottom side that mount to the factory locations for the majer hood that screws in from the top.  I like this much better since you cant see the screws!

There isnt much left of the bike from his original build!  Everything was pretty worn out!  It was a good bike for me to learn on for sure, since I basically had to start from scratch and replace things as I went!  It was fun, but I went a bit over budget, had to sell one of my mountain bikes! Haha

Just a few examples, and now that Ive seen this I know what to look for when I go on the hunt for another bike!  The front end of the frame was bent and literally twisted!  The A-Arms were literally crushed onto the frame from over tightening. The steering stem was missing spacers and the C-clip to hold it on the frame (scary).  The bushing in the shock linkage were rusted and dry as a bone, squeeked horrible, the swingarm bearing were dry and rusted as well.  The bearing carrier was worn completely out, the bearings were pitted, and the axle was trashed.  He had the wrong ignition box and it was prefiring (a term I was unfamiliar with), which caused the hole in the piston that you can see in that one pic. Tiny pieces of piston were all through the motor, luckily the tranny was still good.  I guess the only parts left from the bike from when I got it is the swingarm, hubs, front spiindles, and tranny!

Well, Ive been at it again, I cant seem to stop...  Added a set of Hiper CF1 Wheels and Maxxis Razor XC for a little cross country riding.  After that I had to see how the 2007 CR250R Ignition would work from ESR.  Its fantastic by the way....   Starts on the first kick, much snappier throttle response and I also feel like it has more torque at low RPM's.  Oh and the new graphics from Lone Star Racing finished off the look I was going for.
