Anybody use a tumbler polisher I have some questions

Any body use one of these polishers? I have one as of now just have walnut shell media that came with it. We get small shifter lever cut from 6061 or 5051 .040 thick aluminum cut with a water jet. The pieces are about 1/8" wide and 2" long there is some etching from cutting on the polished surface and cutting marks around the out side. What media and step could I use to do all the de-buring and polishing to cut out my labor. We have Aluminum wheels and fuel tanks CNC made too that we polish with a buffer along with stainless exhaust stacks machines. An help would be great. I posted some of the things we do. Thanks

I used one for doing all my nuts and bolts, started with triangle like abrasive and then went to walnut and it cleaned them up to the point where you could polish it easy.  went thru way too many problems.  the lid nut vibrates loose real easy, double nut it and then the washer under the nut will spin and kill all the threads on the shaft.  so ditched the lid altogether and just put a 5 gallon bucket over the whole thing and put weight on the bucket.  keeps the noise down cause you need to run it for 12 hours but made everything inside dusty and covered in dust.

Ours is 3 feet in diameter and uses a water pump to eliminate dust and speed deburing time. Debur using the triangle media. Polishing you should to ask the manufacturer what they recommend.
