Sounds like fun.  Too much fun with the R when it's slick out!  Nasty clean up though.

Quite frankly I'm sick of the snow and want some good riding weather.

South Dakota seems pretty libertarian on it. I was in Watertown (pop. 30k-50k idk) I saw guys on banshees several times riding right the main drag in traffic.

I want to live in South Dakota.  When we are out there with our bikes we have seen quads running down the streets in Rapid City,Deadwood,Sturgis, etc.  The laws on alot of stuff are more laxed out there for sure.  Like no turn signals on your chopper.

This weekend a friend and I were able to drive his RZR across our entire town with completely snow covered roads. It was pretty awesome. There was a good 5-6 inches on our roads.

During the summer last I checked Ohio had a 2-wheels on 2-wheels off policy. Not sure if that's changed. We can get to just about anywhere provided we don't abuse it and people don't call the cops

waynoka OK is pretty friendly to a point.  surprised no one mentioned that.  the only other place I have seen compareable is YUMA AZ.  I at a truck stop getting fuel to finish the trip to Glamis and guys were pulling up on three wheelers and quads to get fuel and then take off riding down the street.  desert riding spot was close by I was told.

My hometown in suburbs of Houston was real ATV friendly back in the early 90s, but getting annexed by city of Houston put an end to that!  :mad-new:
Bunch of race quads that run on premix

i ride from my house into the woods but not too often as i am still apprehensive.  it seems ok cause im friendly with most of the neighbors.  but its the southern suburbs of SW PA a mile from the washington county line so that may be of my benefit.
