You could try contacting Arlan @ LED to see if he has any laying around

The one I just bought will likely be going up for sale again. I only bought it to try and fix my overheating issue.

Yes. Talked to Eddie. He gave me some things to try. One was checking for the washer behind the impeller. Without it I guess it doesn't move coolant properly. It was there. When I reassembled broke the shaft. Took a while to get another in good shape. I have tried a lot of things. So I figured I would get that lrd pipe to try and move more exhaust gas out. Eddie seems to think That's not the problem because other guys aRe running a 4 mil 330 pv with the trx5b. He knows a lot more than me but I cannot help to think That's it. Arlan gave me a chromed Price for a pipe and silencer of $760 or so. Not bad if it works. But if Eddie is right and That's not my problem That's a big chunk of cash gone. So I figured I would get that used lrd try it and if it works sell it and order the new pipe from arlan. That's why I tried to buy the one spiritaces got. I only wanted to try it. I would rather have one built exactly to my build specs to get the most out of it. I am beyond irritated with this engine to the point I went out and bought a trx450.

Did you purchase the ESR cylinder new? If so how long ago? I too had overheating issues with a ESR 330 cylinder. Turned out, the exiting water passages were very restricted.

I think I purchased it very beginning of last year. Had it built by xxx in March and had problems since. At the time I thought it was the best option as there was no other forum to get other builders out there. So I am left with xxx says it's ESR junk and ESR says they think it could be problems with the builder but has told me they would help make it right. Problem is I don't know What I need to make it right. That's why I'm trying the pipe since it was not a lot of money and I could rule that out.

Got to be something odd going on....hmm. Odd like the washer thing or something....
Did you put this together?
Have you removed the head cyl etc and double check looked around for odd flow blockage or restriction?
edit= you made another post while I was slow posting on phone etc.....

Did they suggest sending in the engine or cyl to have a look?
You have to know by now that you have to take what xxx says about esr with a grain of salt. There have been repeated dirty business tactics involved with that so you just need to keep that in mind.
Keep in touch with esr about it. I don't think that pipe will run much cooler then the b's do so I think you need to continue looking into this rather then wait.
edit= sorry we derailed your thread a bit Kevin, just brainstorming.

Well I will try it. Eddie said it ain't the pipe anyway but Also hasn't said What it is either. He did say here would rather fix it trying not to return it. But Also realize I have not been pushing real hard on this.I work a lot and don't have a ton of extra time. It was completely built and running this past march.so I have been off and on messing with it.and by the way I did no that xxx is off base with all of that.

Is this engine using stock or CR ignition? Is the piston scuffing at the aux exhaust port bridges? Are running high water temp? What needle are you using and if it seizes what throttle position?
I hear about these problems all the time but almost never experience them with my builds. I have believed the tail pipe is to small, for to long, causing high exhaust temps. I also believe the DDJ needle will cause a lean condition at 3/4 throttle.
If my solutions are not fixing this problem then I would like to hear more about it. I am interested in a solution. With enough data we should be able to see a pattern. Is there one thing all these failures have in common?

TRX250scar - Did you do a leak down test ? Would it hold 6 psi for 10 minutes ? What coolant are you running ? Did you purge the system ? (get all the air out of the water pump & cylinder) - Just a few more things to check

Timing and jetting. I would check that out real close. Btw, I have a PWR rad on my 330 and a stock rad on my 350. The 350 runs cool most of the time. Just saying you don't need to go out and spend $400 on a radiator if you haven't already. Good luck.
