alright so i have been on trx250r.net for sometime now.. i never knew there was a trx250r.org.. holy shit!! now i have found alot of new info that i can look up on and learn about.. pretty cool to have 2 sites.. anyways this is my second 250r that i have built up.. i bought this bike for a grand and new it needed alot of work.. so i went to town.. all the way down to the last bearing and seal.. i dont have as much money wrapped up in it like some of the other builds but only because my wife would kill me.. alright here goes the photos.. let me know what ya guys think and also let me know what else i need to do or change that would look better.. as you can see the motor mounts were destroyed and also the frame was beat up and mangled.. i was going to buy a new frame but thought it would be more fun to just fix this one up..

Oh wow that frame is beat. Be sure to look for more cracks. And don't forget a gusset kit. Keep the pictures and your progress coming.

as you can see from the bottom the motor mounts were just destroyed!!

i cut the old mangled frame parts out and cut and installed new ones.. even thicker square stock.

next i got pumashines gussett kit and tig welded it into place.

cool dude im actually in everett wa stationed in the navy.. and i took my frame onto the ship to work on it.. got tons of tools there.. keep lookin out for photos i got really in depth with the work

lookin mighty fine there sir! Just reweld the whole frame and put a clear powder on it! Give it that Raw look! haha

i actually lost the top piece to the swingarm bolt gusset.. soo i made a quick one out of a carpenters square i had laying around.. made it real easy to measure for the cut.. lol

so instead of buying 200$ pegs i decided to just make my own and see what i came up with.. i took both right and left peg, welded a 1 inch piece of metal on the back inbetween the two pegs.. then cut 3/8" round stock into small pieces and welded thos inbetween for supports..

then i added the kick up and cut some sharp teeth in it.. should be good to catch my feet if they slide.. and also some skin.. ouch!!! also i was bored so i beefed up my brake pedal. lol

next i split the cases with a piece of metal i drilled holes into with the press.. used long all thread in the stator bolt holes.. nice and easy.. then i baggied up the guts and labeled them so its easy to reassemble.. then i had to bore my cases to accomadate the 350 i bought from esr.. as you can see the drill bit only gets so far down into the cases
