Dave, Do you know anyone with a KTM 300XC ? I've always wondered if that CDI would work on our bikes......the wiring harness is less than $50!

Maybe it's not over......yet ?

:)

No I dont know anyone with a KTM CDI, they look to be made by another company than Denso that Honda and yamaha uses.
Anyone looking for a great builder I highly recommend the following.
For CP products dealers I would recommend:
Arlan at LED(site sponsor), Pete Schemberger at Hybrid Engineering, Mat Shearer at Shearer Custom Pipes, Dennis Packard at Packard Racing, and Nate McCoy of McCoys Peformance.

Other great builders I also would recommend: Neil Prichard, Jerry Hall, Bubba Ramsey and James Dodge.

UDONTKNOWME - Can you post a wiring Diagram for a KTM 2010 300XC ? I'm curious to see if it's similar to the Honda.....Thanks

also look into the gas-gas bikes.  im sure the gas-gas quad curve would be comparable.  just a thought.

I did confirm what many others have said about the 97-99 flywheels NOT working on the 00-01 CDI's
I was almost certain that I had tested a earlier flywheel on the 00-01 cdi's in the past but my mind must be slipping so sorry if I mis-informed anyone in the past!
I have a expensive Gauss meter available to me from work and I will attempt to map out the magnets using my milling machines degreed rotary table to see what is going on with these flywheels since they are physically the same.
But this will be awhile before I get to this project because I have a bunch of stuff going on right now
