Mounted up the heel guards to get an idea of how the fenders mate up.  My engine builder is sending the cases/covers out for powder.  The million dollar question is 'will the headstay line up with the CP top end?'  If it doesn't, I'll be begging Laeger to make me a new custom headstay.

my laeger protrax frame head stay (with stabilizer bracket ) fit like a glove to my 363 sphynx

just a tip.....clean ALL your mounting surfaces both motor and frame mating surfaces of all powder coating or you will be fighting the alignment on every bolt you install

Will keep in mind for sure.  As far as the head stay, I think Tbone07 had some issues with the Laeger headstay and sphynx lining up on his build so I figured I'd have the same problems.  Hopefully it will be all good.

it took me a couple try's, My first try was installing that bolt last and was a fail.... I think the order that worked best for me, was bottom first then head stay, then rear then front..

it might take a couple trys but it should go.

either way good luck and be patient it will go without any Hammers or bending, I did use a piece of wood to persuade it a little and it went right into place

Schorr MotorSports, Inc.  He does not do the PC work but the company he uses is top notch.  312R1 had his Laeger frame and some other stuff done by them...QC cover was a perfect match to Honda OEM I believe.

Yeah that's the official business name.  You are cracking me up right now.  All about perspective though!  While you two are swapping parts being buddies I'm a paying customer....LOL.  I hope that PC guy does as nice a job on my engine as he did on your QC cover.

Lmao. Yeah he will do a top notch job for you. I haven't seen anything yet to make me think otherwise. The good thing for you is that this is his slow time of the year. Not much sprint car chassis to do.

Nothing like doing 8 sets of swingarm bearings in one sitting.  Took a while but it got them all pulled from the pro-trax so I'm all set to have the tops chromed and the lowers powdered to match the frame.  My stem should be showing up next week.  Now the big decision is do I simply buy new bushings from Laeger or get new bearings and have new sleeves cut.  These felt like butter with the bearings installed.  Anyone know a good machine shop within driving distance from Pittsburgh?  Thinking I'll have them ground to within tolerance and then hard chrome plated.

Should have the LED 300PV ready to go in a few weeks.  Still need to send these out for powder.

Still not sure on lower arm color.  I may go with a stock Honda silver or possibly an old school Laeger Grey.

Looking nice! I like when the a-arms and swingarm are the same color. What swinger are you running on this?
