Was the swingarm skid plate mounting something you specifically asked for? Or is that how they make them now for ease of compatibility reasons? Would be awesome if you could just use 400EX or 450R skidplates

Thanks guys. This build is taking forever but it should be worth it in the end. I asked him to add the extra set of standoffs for the 450 half skids. The standoffs under the axle housing are already an exact match to the 250r so it was a really quick and easy mod to just add the second set.

I'm loving the build. This is the frame id love to have. Dan had a little input in my decision with his laeger arsenal!

Keep patient as we grow impatient. It'll be worth it in the end.

So here's how the engine sits all finished up ready to go. Haven't decided on White hood or CF weave.

Axles what to do. I was gonna have my OEM refinished then I decided to buy a 400ex axle then I found a 250r XC axle! I'm sticking with the 400ex plan for now....

Red Barron. Very close to the Honda. Outside pic to give you a better feel for the color.

Good to know Thanks! I just did mine "House Red" and I think it's a hair darker than OEM honda... not a big deal w/ white plastics though... but I want to do another and it'll have fighting red Maier's, and I want that to match... thanks!! Build is lookin sick!
