Not to tell you how to sell your items but $280 is a little high considering they are only $299 brand new

the water pump bearing feels like its got crap in it you can clean it oil it and use it or replace it, im not trying to hide a possible issue (or not) so leaving that up to the buyer to decide

In the chat box you were saying you already tried cleaning it.

"Hey I oiled that pump bearing blew it out cleaned it and re oiled it---it feels like its got either something in it or a flat ball---dont see how it could have a flat ball but anything is possible I guess --"

But in the add you said the buyer needs to clean it. Sounds more like the bearing is trash. These covers were a little questionable when they came out for $199. Some of the water pump bore holes were on the tight side not allowing the bearing to be push in straight.  Causing the bearing to not spin freely. Just a heads up to Josh or who ever buys this cover

My bearing was the same way...I bought when it was $199. I cleaned it and lubed it and it felt just like it did before so I ran it to see what would happen. So far it's been holding up the past few race seasons BUT I should have pulled it and checked the bearing to make sure.

So what tony, I decided to clean the bearing to see what was up with it before I sold it to josh who I was talking to in the chat room and in PM's about the the bearing and who I copied and pasted the entire chat convo TO him VIA PM just to make sure he got it since he didnt replay back before I was headed off site --This is all before he has sent me a dime I just wanted to 100% make sure he knew what I found BEFORE he bought it--

Make sure you heat to 200 degrees and remove the bearing. Check to see if the bore is scarred. Seems like it did not push in all the way on mine but the bearing spun without a flat spot.  But ESR covers are not OEM. When you buy a ESR cover from Eddy you get a warranty. When you buy second hand you get what you got. Check the bearing, lol, for a flat spot when removed. You can only remedy after you find out what is wrong. If I was Powder, I would not sell something that is messed up to a member.
