Guys, I just want to chime in here with an experience I had that was very similar to this .net to .org thing: Back in 2001, I found a bulletin site for people that owned Chevy & GMC S-10/S-15 pickup/Blazer/Jimmy's that were doing very extensive modifications to them for off-roading. I have a S-10 Blazer that I had modified on my own and found a lot of great information sharing on this site that helped me get through some problems I was having. After about 3 years, the site owner started his own agenda and was deleting, blocking posts, banning members and such. So a few members took it upon themselves to start another site. Eventually all the membership transitioned over to the new site. The memebership kept growing and the admins keep the site clean and above all a information sharing site. It eventually got big enough that the head admin purchased a server and the site is actually contained and managed soley buy the admin. But the point I coming to here is that this site is now so well known it is being referenced by the 4x4 community, i.e. magizines and tech editors. So if this place can stay positive, grow and house a wealth of 250R knowledge, maybe it can be referenced by Dirt Wheels, ATV Rider or someone else...
