Hi all,

I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a big dune rider with my quads, but I also like the trails/dunes/tracks with my motorcycles as well. A physicist and engineer by trade, I am always tinkering with my bikes and designing/fabricating new gadgets. Some things work out great, most do not. It is always fun though.

I have to first apologize to everyone here. I did not realize this site was created to avoid the pushy sales with the .net site, and like a dumbass I went seeing if there was any interest in a new gadget I designed on my very first post. I am sure that set off quite a few people. That was not my intent-- I merely liked how my part turned out and wanted to share it with the TRX community.

In any case, it sounds like there is a wealth of info here, and I look forward to reading through it, and maybe helping out at some point!

Welcome aboard, OJ just took the moderation control off the new members and you made that post the next day. We have alot of experienced members here. Ask questions if you have any. Were always improving the technical section as time sees fit. I make R stuff with the Waterjet and CNC brake. Glad to have you here!

welcome to the best site out there.  this site is full of smart and creative people.  quite a few engineers (yours truly), machinist fabricators etc.  also, some of the best engine builders in the country are supporting members and regular contributors.

Welcome aboard!  I sent you a group invite for the Oregon Dune Riders.  rsss396 has put together a bunch of great technical articles that you'd probably enjoy in the Technical Section.

welcome, hope you share more of your talent here on the site, we pride ourselves in being the smarter bunch of the 250r guys and you look like you will fit in!
I dont have any problems if you are selling a 250r item or 2 on the side to help pay for your hobby, but if it becomes more, then you should support the site like the other companies.
Anyone looking for a great builder I highly recommend the following.
For CP products dealers I would recommend:
Arlan at LED(site sponsor), Pete Schemberger at Hybrid Engineering, Mat Shearer at Shearer Custom Pipes, Dennis Packard at Packard Racing, and Nate McCoy of McCoys Peformance.

Other great builders I also would recommend: Neil Prichard, Jerry Hall, Bubba Ramsey and James Dodge.
