not sure if a asked this question before but heres the situation. its 6hr round trip drive to get vp M1. i used it before and works good but a pain in the ass to get it. fuel distibutor down the street has no name methanol and claims its race grade and 10 bucks cheaper than vp. anyone tried the no name stuff and does it work just as good with no problems ?

This is where I get my fuel, 110 or methanol. It may be no name to others but is well known around me.

I have also picked up some no name methanol from the refinery for someone else to do runs on a dyno. 200hp+ sled motors and seemed to work fine for him. As long as it is from a clean source I think you will be fine.

I normally use the methanol I get outside the silverlake park it sold in bulk to Duneland ATV and honestly have not noticed a difference from the VP methanol
Anyone looking for a great builder I highly recommend the following.
For CP products dealers I would recommend:
Arlan at LED(site sponsor), Pete Schemberger at Hybrid Engineering, Mat Shearer at Shearer Custom Pipes, Dennis Packard at Packard Racing, and Nate McCoy of McCoys Peformance.

Other great builders I also would recommend: Neil Prichard, Jerry Hall, Bubba Ramsey and James Dodge.
