Anybody run this race?  I am wanting to run it this year and need to fing out if they allow 3 wheelers.
Is there anything I would need to do to my bike for it?

Pricecheck ran it last year, it sounds like a blast and I would like to run beginner this year.  When I asked pricecheck about it, he said pretty much show up and run.

Yes! It's run what ya brung. Plenty of racing of all sorts.

Tell ya like this, besides me wanting revenge on the course (because I blew my motor), I'm debating on leaving the quad in Oklahoma City with family and flying in from Alaska so I can race it in Tulsa.

If you have no family with you I'd camp out at the raceway. Damn I wanna go back!

On the three wheeler thing, didn't see any. I only saw three two strokes. Mine, a quadzilla and a banshee. I was the only one racing theirs.

Write them for info. They aren't the best at contacting but they will get back to you. And don't worry about prepaying. You can get there and just pay that morning of whatever race.

I am only 2 1/2 hrs from the track. I emailed and haven't got a response back.  There was someone that was trying to get a 3 wheeler class a while back but didnt get enough to do it.  I think I might be able to get a few to show up.  I am going to show up and see.
I don't know anything about it so I didn't know if there was some prepairation that would help.

No 3 wheeler class, but I've seen'em run before. It's under an hour away for me. Went to Hallet last weekend for a CMRA 6hr endurance race that some friends were doing on sportbikes. They got 4th in class with a pretty much stock R6. I helped in the pits the whole race. It was fun and Hallet is a blast.

You might try calling K&N Yamaha here in Tulsa(Sapupla technically).

Ive ran it the last 2 years on my TRX450R and I also popped a motor last year. It was probably my own fault my oil cooler came loose and I didnt know it. I will be back again this year on my TRX250R. As far as mods its mostly up to you. Last year I had a +2 front and rear and I ran 18" rear with 19" fronts 90% MX setup and it worked really good for me both years. This year I think I will be doing more of a XC setup.

A few guys I ride with and I are planning on going, but plans seem to fall apart more times than not.

I SHOULD be there. It's abt 45 mins away and I've been doing it since the 90's(didn't go last year-plans fell apart and the weather seemed kinda iffy, along with me thinking WTF on some of the start times that prob changed anyways). Best finish I ever got was a 4th in quad am. No supermoto back then. That's what I'll run is supermoto BTW. I may also run beg open dirt bike on Sat and that will be xc since I've only raced a dirtbike once in my life and I'll be able to do it without a fuel stop. The xc race has longer stretches of pavement vs the supermoto which breaks it up more and has more obstacles(kinda in that I mean more closer together). We'll be running regular(not backwards) this year according to K&N yamaha. I'm out to have fun honestly and am not worried abt where I finish, espec in the dirtbike class-quads, well I tend to get more competitive(and crazier-I love pavement) on them  HAHA). I've always preferred a more mx type setup there personally for either race, but that's just me... It may have some mud, but it's not deep that I've EVER seen. 18's always worked great for me

Bowtie I know exactly what ya mean abt plans falling apart. This year I'm gonna give a whole lot of friends chit if they try to back out!!!!!

Its looking like we wont have enough for a class. So I will run with the quads. May have some other guys coming.
Do I need to do anything to my bike or just show up and run? What classes are there?  The website is cluttered and I am not sure what all they run.
I Know what you mean about giving friends crap about not showing up. They will never hear the end of it.

Just show up and run they have different classes but its all about what ever event you want to join in on and what class you choose to run.
Race schedule http://okgoldrush.net/Schedule.html
Race Classes http://okgoldrush.net/Classes.html

I intend to run quad beginner and quad MX on Friday, quad team race if I can find a partner, or I may just Iron man it and the night race if I can get some lights hooked up on Saturday, and sundays races will have to see what I have left in me and left for quads.

Would it be wrong to run the 250CC and under class for Fridays begginer quad, I am stock bore and only have a PTR TRX Type 6 pipe, and stock suspension other than a set of 450R front shocks.  I think I would feel bad mixing it up with some blasters and stuff, but running a mostly stock quad against big bore, built suspsension 4 strokes seems kinda unfair to. Man it stinks being inbetween two classes, I feel I have to much for one but not enough for the other any personal opinions. I may just run open it would be way more humiliating to the 4 stroke guys to get beat by a mostly stock, stock/small bore 2 stroke.
