How do u like that pipe , i got the same one , ur soecs close so mine other then mines esr and rad valve with fiber reeds , let me know how u make out i cant get mine to idle unless giving it some throttle gonna try a 55 pilot for the heck of it and play with the air screw and idle screw

Your main seems small.  Especially with that pipe.  You can always work safely back down.

Arlan said 48-50 pilot , start 182 main , ddj needle middle clip , i tried a 58 , 55, 53 pilot have no idle on any of them and last time my a/s was out 3 turns off and wasnt idling up , i have tried a 50 and 48 nothing seems to work i had it kinda idling with a 55 but it was turned to far out idled for maybe 10 secs the died so put in 53 and still no idle ,,, at this point the carb is smArter then me

The pipe would be better if it didn't leak exhaust soot EVERYWHERE. From idle to 1/4 throttle i'm good, anything above 1/4 throttle is absolute crap and won't clean out. I probably won't even be able to do a useful plug chop with the way it won't clean out and rev. I'm not ruling out electrical problems either

I'm also waiting in BR8EG plugs, using a BR9EIX right now (which worked great in my PC2000)

Do you have a dej to try? A deg is quite rich at a 1/4 throttle.

I used lots of silicone in the first joiint kinda built a gasket in there then let it set up for 10 mins or so also put a little around the exhaust flange and on all the reat of the pipe joints and let it sit for 24 hrs it seems to have seal up nothings leaking but i cant get the thing to idle so its only been run about 2-3 mins total

Got mine idling currently its a 50 pilot around 2 turns out on air screw , tbone if u havent done it already try cutting 2-3 coils off ur idle screw to make it go in a bit further just a suggestion ....

Mine is idling perfectly. It's anything above 1/4 throttle just hits and misses.

Going to play with some needle settings today after work.

Put in a brand new B8EG plug and she runs like a raped ape, I probably fouled the BR9EIX. She runs much better now.

Traveling to my property down south this weekend. I can open her up on the country gravel roads so i'll get some plug chops in to fine tune it even better.

I almost clipped a tree in my backyard when my front end came up unexpectedly lol

Good news.  I was watching this closely.  My engine is out for powder and hope to have the LED running by July 4.
