if you keep the gap on the plug closed up to .016-.018 they will fire in any motor even alcohol feed motors but with the bigger motors you get a hard kickback that you do not get with the CR250 ignition, back 10 years ago when the Sabers came out many people tried running them on the stock ignition and as long as it would start they had no problems but many had a sore foot starting them, one guy use to run a piece of titanium plate on the bottom of his boot to keep from hurting his foot
