Hi...
My name is Marcel and im from germany.
The last 4 years i was driving a banshee built for street and last friday i was getting my 250R.they r very rare here in germany and as i found out parts r rare too. :D
yesterday i started parting down and find out the the top end needs a rebuilt (it was a 72.20 btw) with a wiseco crank.
all i was getting in germany was a hot rod crank so i ordered one and after some search i decided to get a ESR 310 with a trx9 port job and new exhaust flange, intake, spacer plate.
hopefuly the shipping doesnt take to long..normally its between 2-3weeks from US.in the meantime i will start to do some other things on my R...theres enough to do :)
here r 2 pics from my old banshee and new R

hi..yes its not a big problem here to make it street legal.u just need lights ,indicators, mirrors etc and u have to go every 2 years to a technical check if everything is ok.the only thing that sucks is that u need a number plate in the front and if u change important parts like an axle u have to go to the tech check too and need to register that new part in ur papers.anyways its much fun to ride on the streets but i bought my R for the dirt :)
