88 250r, lots of new parts

I hate to do it since I just bought the bike a couple months ago but I’m buying my first house and need the extra cash. 1988 250r motor completely gone through in 2012 and have receipts for everything done then totaling over 3 grand. When I got it, it had fmf fatty head pipe, re-sleeved stock cylinder and new wiesco on first bore, v force reeds, uni airfilter, newer sprockets and new chain, ricks motorsports cdi, nerf bars, Ims oversize gas tank and moose billet clutch basket and clutch kit.

Since I got it I have replace exhaust seals/springs, tm design chain slider, steering stem bushing and bearing, headlight bulb, new grips, brand new take off 450r shocks, new front wheel bearings, JD performance +2 a arms with new balljoints and new delrin bushings, stainless front brake lines, front plastic grommets, replaced cracked swingarm, new swingarm bearings, freshly packed pipe, 38mm 4 vent pwk, new throttle cable and carb cap, upp 38 mm intake boot, rebuilt stock kicker, and new chromoly tie rods and tie rod ends. All the fluids have been replaced and everything has been greased and adjusted, this thing is ready to go I just wasn’t planning on getting a house this soon. The plastic are all oem with the only crack above the headlight and the front right mounting point was broke off and replaced with an aluminum bracket which you can’t even really see. Compression was 185 on a cold motor and leak down held 9.5 psi only loosing .5 psi after 15 minutes. Long post but I wanted to get everything out there. Looking for $3,000 OBO. Located in St.Louis.

Took it to St.Joes State Park two weekends ago and it ran great all day, no issues at all. Ordered a new case saver and anti vibe handle bar risers for it as well. Still looking to sell would also consider trades for jeep Cherokee or Wrangler.

I had considered it prior to taking it on its first real ride but it didn't give me any issues all day and doesn't have any kick back when starting.  I know most people aren't a fan of them but this one seems to be working just fine.
