27-28 Year Old Pic's I just Found Of Me On My ATC 250R

What a trip. I searched my house high and low as I knew I still had some pics of me and the R somewhere. I finally found them tonight. These are at Canyon Lake (now a housing track) Ocotillo Wells, and Azuza Canyon. I had to take pictures of the original pictures so I could transfer them so the are not the greatest pics. What a trip seeing my ATC brand new. The other ATC was one of Coffman's '84 250R. Funny I still have my Coffman's silencer too

them are sweet man!!! I don't know about the no shirt! That helmet looks funny.....lol
LOL yeah young and dumb. I remember all that gear. JT leathers, old High Point boots, Bell helmet.

I wouldn't dream of riding like that now. Here is a pic of me from a few weeks ago at Pala Raceway. I look like the Michelin Man but actually that's all my Shock Doctor pads under all my other gear lol. Gettin old man, gettin old

Cool pics. I can remember when most of this stuff was new, as I was 14 in 1986 and getting a new toy for x mas. I chose poorly, but safely: a quadsport 230. Sporty enough to learn on, but not cool compared to what you COULD get in 86. You were jumping that atc higher than I've ever jumped mine(just don't like jumping that thing LOL). I had thought you may be into dirt bikes too(thought I saw your name on another forum), but wasn't sure. Anyways cool pics and have a good day.

And here are pics of that very same ATC exactly 28 years later (I bought it new in July '85) I just put Pumashines exhaust hangers on yesterday so wanted to show those off since he said this will be the first trike to get them.

And here it is last year just before I started the restore. I was shocked when I removed the radiator cap.

Just 1, the restore I just finished (are we ever finished???). Sometime around '89 the swingarm took a beating on some rocks and it never ran again until now. A rock crushed the bottom of the carrier housing and bent the rotor so it would not even move without removing the rear caliper and rotor. I was going to go through it completely back then but one thing led to another, life just sort of got in the way, and it ended up sitting for 22 years.
