I got one for my boys. Roundeye blew it up in Lil Sahara last year. Still sitting.
Brother in law Brad swears by them.

Here's Brad in his "well received"  5 seconds of glory.

Back in the 90's FMF made "torque plus" and "rev" pipes. I had the torque plus and loved them. They really split the difference between the 2 into 1 pipes(those sure sounded cool) and a rev pipe like fmf's version or some toomys. Mine was torquey for only having that FMF power up kit and no head mods. Honestly the best part of a shee is the motor and it's hidden potential for pretty cheap hp.

I just used Blowtie316, it makes me mad because I can't find a Bowtie316 listed as a member on the site, yet it still wouldn't let me use it.  Honestly I'm not going to hang out there, lots of idiots, but it will be good for research.

This bike has what I was told are CT racing "woods" pipes, what little riding I did on it they felt great.  My buddy has a 4mil stroker with midrange port from trinity, with toomey t5s and that thing runs damn good.  Literally lugs better than my stock 250r and is way way faster on the top end. Someday I will try to mimick that one with mine.

I've lurked on hq, there are a lot of douches there. Some day I want to build an "outlaw" banshee. The ones I've seen still have a lot of distance from the front sprocket to the swingarm pivot though.

Unfortunately not, probably only a handful. It doesn't sound like anyone is going to sandfest this year.

I have a banshee also! love it it is completely different then the 250r. The 250r is like a Ferrari handles amazing and has good power. The banshee is a viper handles like ass but hauls pure ass. I love my banshee even though it has been in storage for 2 years.

This is my Banshee:

What happened ?

Well, after I got it home and went riding, I swapped out riding with another banshee and found the other bike had much less vibration.  I pulled the stator covor off to check runout and it was a .006", so I figured it was out of true, planned to send it to have it trued and welded but when I pulled the jugs off, one of the rod bearings was on it's way out too.

It's got a +4 stroker in it now.  Unfortunately they (FAST) couldn't get my jugs ported in time for me to take it to sandfest, so it's just got a spacer and stock porting.  It runs okay, but basically like a stock bike.

On a more positive note, i got my new 330R out yesterday and it runs real strong, very happy with the trx7 port.

Banshees deserve the same respect as a 250r if not more. Sounds crazy to me people hating twin cylinder 2 stroke quad.
