im probably going to stay with my stock cylinders and send them to either Packard, k&t, or shearer and match it up with a 4mill or 7mill crank..  not sure yet lol

im not sure what choices you have for 7mil but if your only option is a billet crank i think your better off going to 10mil and using cub cylinders. other wise just stay at 4mil with oem cylinders
to much power is almost enough

I'll more than likely stay with a 4mill and do a lot of head work to the OEM cylinders... well just have to see what kind of power I can get out of them.. :)  thanks for your input jerry and udontknowme

It is going to be difficult to get 90 to 100 hp  modifying Yamaha OEM cylinders, using a big stroker crank and expecting it to stay together very long!

Hmm.

thats kind of my plan as well. keep engine costs down so i can pick up a good chassis then next year dump some more money into the engine

Yeah I'm gonna keep the stock chassis myself... make it look as stock as possible and then when I fly past some of these badass 450's and raptors... they are going to flip out!  Hahaha

You should just put the purse down and build a cub kind sir, I may bring mine over after halloween and it would look bad if i came to play at pismo and lost to a stock cylinder bike....

its easy to have 4-5G in the engine. then refinance your house to get chassis, swingarm, wheels, axle , shocks
to much power is almost enough
