Do you want to go to the +6 for the racing? Just build a bar for it. I don't like my +6 for general riding. With the bar and a little shorter swing arm you can get away with a little less paddle as well. You can have the +6 I have and find me a stock length aftermarket for an '86, some kind of 3way deal or something.

Here is where I got my tube inserts. If you need a diagram on what you need let me know and I'll get something together.
