At a loss about what to use

IF U ARE GOING TO USE 450R SHOCKS SHOULD I USE 450 A-ARMS OR SOME AFTER MARKET FULL FLIGHT??? AND IF SO WHAT SIZE PLUS 2,3 OR STANDARD??? THE QUAD IS FOR WOODSANS
D SURPRISINGLG DID PRETTY GOOD WITH THEM IN THE WOODS ON MY 450 EVEN THO IT SEEMS BORING COMPARED TO MY 250R....I JUST WANT UPGRADE AND THAT IS CHEAPEST ROUTE MY OTHER OPTION ARE WORKS STEELERES OR ELKA STAGE 1 ANYTHING UNDER 600$.....any ideas and sorry caps was on but im not yeling ...im learning im new on here and a new builder im just a gear head rider that has always just bought a fast quad alreadedy worked so this is all new.....       thanks

You can not use 450 arms on a 250R frame. 250R arms or 400ex with spacers are the only arms that will work.

Most woods riders go with stock length or +1 arms. +3s are pretty wide and used mostly for MX.

I would suggest finding yours Aarms first then buy shocks that that suit your needs. Works steelers are not much more then stock replacements. As far as Aarm brands go pick your poison. There are many to choose from.

Hope your shoulder sockets are in good shape. Those 450 shocks will beat the life outta you

There is a reason works steelers are the cheapest in the works product line. Like I mentioned before 450 shocks are the wrong length. Better then works steelers? I couldn't say. But in my opinion I wouldn't buy either. You can buy good used shocks and have them rebuilt for your needs and still be in your budget.

I have never used Elka's so I can't comment on them. I would hope they are abit more of an improvement over the works steels.

450r shocks are good if you get them done up by a good shock guy.  They can be made double rate and shortened. I priced it by a good shock man local and was about $450 to be built for me
