Maybe be a dumb question but I have never rode dunes and very seldom ride trails. Do you guys wear goggles or just a pair of shades I your helmet? Also do you run a clear lens or something tinted? I need a new pair of goggles anyways but I was just wandering.

I suggest goggles. Sand gets everywhere. Some wear sun glasses but not recommended. Goggles with some tint especially a yellow tint helps during the day hours when the sand tends to blend in and looks the same with no contrast. Very hard to see and read the bumps and jumps. Tint helps that.
