Too dang cold to do anything with the quad. However, being cooped up gave me a chance to square away the motor. I'm getting the bottom end taken care of locally so it won't be shipping out. What was done to the R? I worked out the build with Arlan. The LED order looks very similar to what TBone just received for his "LED 350 Sphynx XC Build" with the main difference being that I didn't go as big and ordered a 300PV instead.

My above post was unclear. I drove it around in the back of the truck! At these times I wish I had a flat bed. Hell, I think I'll go load it up now!!!

Did get my new trans oil and clutch cable in. Gonna lube it up shortly and get it installed.

Drained the gas and cleaned carb cleaned for winter storage:

Got the swing arm off my wife's 86. I ended up cutting it out with a stihl hot saw........:victorious:

Actually I used a 4" grinder with a cutoff wheel, worked great. Getting a swing arm bolt from pumashine & a bearing kit from turftamer, after that a serious cleaning, inspection & reassembly & it'll be ready to live. We got it in june last year & haven't ridden it yet. The previous owner hadn't ridden it since 2008 so my ocd kicked in & I had to tear it down to the frame to check it out prior to it's first ride & it's a good thing I did, on 5 of the a-arm bolts I removed the nuts by hand:neglected:.... & it's not because I'm super strong.

Finally caught a break with the weather. Got the OEM clutch basket gear off and installed it on my Hinson, installed all the transmission bearings and seals. Next up is crank bearing and seals.

If this break in the weather continues I might have the motor together sooner than expected

Started paintin coats on my stroker bottom end so I can slap on my new esr 330. Also tore my carb apart for a good cleaning.

Aberegg, she's dirty. It's gonna be fun getting it all cleaned up for new paint/powder.

On another note, I picked up a gt thunder skid for mine and a propane heater to help keep warm so I can get my projects completed.

I have a turbo heater in the garage and yes she is dirty. Ill be giving her a good cleaning after she's tore down. I'm droppin in a freshly built esr330 +4after I'm done.

Getting my 86 together. Well, I've been doing a little just about every day for the past month or so. As of today its about 90% done. Going to try and fire her up in the next day or two.
