I am fond of the mk1 body style. Because my dad had a 72 1600 and that was the first manual trans I learned to drive. I was always impressed with the handling. I do not how ever have any room in the budget for another hobby.... Just ask my wife she will tell you like she tells me every day but thank you for looking out.

You sure know how to hurt a poor ol hillbillys feeling, :blue: sitting out there in Cali with all that stash & aint got time to use it. Shucks, I have a hard time affording a new bolt for something much less piling stuff back.
Was not none of my folks in that Grapes Of Wrath movie, them Okies moving out to the land of Sunshine & Honey. Nooo, :thread_hijacked: we had to be one of them Cherokee familys stayed behind in North Carolina, didnt have nothing, aint got nothing & always got to take nothing & make something out of it.
Anyways its been a good life so fer & long is I got me ol 250R brothers in sisters round me, I knows I got a bunch to look forhead to. Kinda like at deliverance movie, y'all come back now hear.

Another would be nice to add to the collection, but got my daughters sitting on a bucket collecting dust. 89 frame, 350, Lone Star arms, Leager swing, PEP, DWT, Hoosiers, Tags, dang easy riding 4 poker done kicked me in the ditch, sure is sad after all these years.
I'm thinking about freshin it up & run it myself in the +60 class.

Hey, you could move east & bring everything with you & enjoy some of the racing around here. I can pull out of my driveway & go in any direction & be at some type of race track in less than 12 to 50 miles.

That's the way to rub it in Neil...LOL...The one in the profile pic exists no more...It is a now a LSR lightweight frame...Black widow shocks front and rear...Lowering kit...DuraBlue swaybar....Laeger a-arms...Ball engineering swingarm...Aluminum TT axle...350PV 5mm stroker with a lot of lite weight internals...400ex front brakes...Hiper non bead-lock rims and AR tires..41.5 mm Carb....On an on ..yada yada yada....LOL..I built this thing as light as I could because of my fat butt.....If you have that much racing out their maybe I should sponsor somebody with it....That's what I did with my Sprint car this year.....

I got a few Pro guys want one to run & I could fix up one of mine, but dont have the funds to back them up for a season keeping it fresh.
In the National EDT, we took all the Pros that had won a championship & limited them to Pro & Pro Am class only & our Pro Am Unlimited class just blew up. That turned into our largest class.
Would be nice to see a good rider in the unlimited on a 2 stroke kicking them 4 pokers butts.

I will PM you my phone number....maybe we can work something out.....I have enough TT parts to outfit four to five riders for a full season.....Also my son is now less than 7 hours from you and is more than excited to try some racing out there...But he doesn't think any racing exists near him....LOL....I am just about ready to ship him his quad....Have to do some final touches to the chassis and get the motor finished up.....

I apologize to you guys for no updating pics and not answering PM's.....Life has been pretty hectic lately as I am working out a deal with my Sprint car for this season, as well as work picking up again and moving my entire business to another location....I still have not been able to unload my last storage unit but hope to get to it by next week....Thanks!
