Heres a video from yesterdays race at Keithsburg.  It shows a 3rd person veiw of the holeshot as well as my on board Go Pro of the hole shot and a solid lap i put in during the race.

Finished 3rd today in the A class on the trusty ol 250R. Pulled a big holeshot on the group. I fell back to 3rd place on the first lap but maintained that place. It took me a lap to find my groove like it always does for me on a XC race. After I picked my pace up u was able to maintain a 40 sec gap to second and first place but couldn't close the gap. 1 - 3rd where the only guys to make 8 laps at this event. Over all Im very happy with the results but there's room to grow.

No real hills or mud here. It's all sand and. Natural occurring woops.

It was rough everywhere.  Need to tighten up my damper some.  And going to be deff trying some new suspension stuff. I need to send them to Andy and see if theres anything we can do to make them more plush.  IT just feels to hard.  I have the compression clear out on the fronts.

Cool video, Kyle. That is strange about the shocks. I would think setting up cross country shocks would be easier since you don't have any large mx jumps to set bottoming out for. Pretty much all the stroke can be used for whoops and all around comfort.

Ya thats my thinking as well.  I cant wait for Maul Tech to come up with a better rear linkage.

Agreed! I have had several work on my shocks now, and none have come close to how good they felt after being setup by Andy. Plus he takes the time to explain to me what is going on and what he is doing. That, to me, is worth more than anything.

Hopefully I missed this.. but is Andy developing a new linkage for the 250R?

Hes working on it.  He has a design figured out that will give a better progression rate.  He has to get a prototype built and tested i believe.

Hole shot extremely important on a track like that not many areas wide enough to pass. Looks really fun & a lot different than the Scramble Races we have out here in California/Arizona. Trees are scary race obstacles in my opinion, LOL. Great job!
