Thats the answer i was looking for. Now im just wondering how much smaller the 3.6 looks in person. In pics it looks like the difference is all in the front of the tank by the stem

We have been drilling a second hole in front of and slightly upward of the original hole for the past 25 years. You can also make a 1/4" spacer and put it between the steering stem clamp and the frame for added clearance.
