hey guys i tried searching and found nothing. not sure if the search function doesnt work or maybe there just hasnt been anything posted on the subject but im looking for info on a good youth qaud for a 10yo girl. i have very little knowledge of qauds, especially the small ones for kids. any suggestions  ?  a clutchless one would probly be best but then again a clutch isnt that difficult to learn

Are you going to race with  the child. A apex, drr and trx 90 quad is the way to go because of the suspension travel. Lt80 a good bike for dunes as well as the races quads. Fun times a head.

Lt80 seemed like a piece of junk.it was a cvt  (automatic )suspension lacking turd. The trx90 was a great running dependable quad. A little lacking with suspension in stock form. Had To  shift but no clutch. Then we bought a raptor 250 when He was ten. Great all around but did have a clutch. He had it five years and is 15 and now rides a trx450. That raptor was the beat investment for a youth quad. Decent power and more than twice the suspension of a lt80 or trx90 but a smaller chassis for a smaller operator. I bought it brand new and never had one single mechanical failure only a battery twice.

Just went that route with my youngest; started with a 50 - lt80 - lt160 - now trying to get her started on a Blaster. The lt160 was a nice size and if I did it over again I would have went from the 50 to the lt160. It all depends how big your 10 year old is. Mine is 11 but she is just a shade too small for the blaster. ( hand wise-being able to work the clutch and front brake ). I am thinking of picking up a 250ex just for the auto. I am selling the lt160 either way

If your going that big a blaster might work. I know it has a clutch.

LT80's are awesome. You can pick up a pretty nice one for $1000 and there's plenty of mods out there and tons of potential if you want to go that route. Or you can go DRR but used you're looking at least $2500. Just my opinion, I don't really do 4 strokes. A 10 year old might be getting too big for the 80 though.

nobody hates 4strokes worse than me be i may have no choice this time. blaster may be out of the question for a kid thats never have a day of experience on any qaud/motorcycle etc. then again some kids can pickup the clutch teqnique rather quick
