hey people this is my first time on one of these sites, got a 250 frame with an Elsinore 450r motor in it. I kick it over and the throttle has trouble coming back and stays wide open, had a problem with a plastic notch that would guide the cylinder up and down straight but it was supposedly fixed but I just started it up for the first ride and I get down the block and it sticks wide.

take apart carb and throttle assembly, and inspect cable, carb, and throttle assembly to find your binding.

Thanks jesse found the problem was in the cable, wasn't sliding in its housing so cleaned it and put a couple more spacers in to keep it tight. Runs good now!
