This may be a stupid question, but what pedal do you have to run on that chassis then?
thanks guys. bholzgen i had to use a OEM pedal and spacers to make it work.

I guess i can say its done for a short time. I will change out the a-arms and suspension and polish/chrome a couple things later. Maier fenders with 89 hood and cranked up decals. 89 look seat cover and fat grab bar. 22-7-10 razr fronts and 20-11-8 rear shredder tires. Those are the only knobbie tires i have lol. What do you guys think?

I been working on my wife's bike for almost 2 years & you built a badass lonestar bike in 2 weeks!:respekt:
It's cool that you still ride R's after having such a bad accident on one. Your buddy's going to want one after he gets to spend some time on your's.

Nice job man!  That baby really hauls the mail....especially with a mx gearing setup.

Thanks guys, kevin i actually built it in 7 days lol. It could of been done in 5 but i had to work last weekend. Im going to the dunes today for the first time, ill make sure and take some good pics.
Red88 ive always ran 14-38 with a +7 extended swingarm and 22/11/8 10 paddle extremes so i think a 14-37 with stock swingarm and 21/11/8 8 paddles extremes will be perfect.

I was not questioning your gearing choice if it came across that way.  We run 15/36 on our 340pv and it works well on most tracks.  I never clocked it on radar though.

i dont have many friends that ride and the ones that do ride work out of town. I was going to go with 1 of them yesterday sunday but it was real windy. Supposably were all going to go this next weekend for sure. In the meantime im going to ride around the house and see how i have to position my body better because the first time i rode it my right foot kept slipping off the peg.

LOL yeah guy builds bike in record time haha
lol anyone can do it if they have nothing to do and a garage full of parts and spares. I can actually build another R but have to wait for the right parts and keep changing my mind on color.

sorry guys no action shots as i was being a little beach. I tried to do some tail whips but the damn thing would lift up and go strait, plus my leg kept slipping off the peg so i didnt feel real comfortable.
