Removing Floor wax from plastics?
« on: April 21, 2015, 12:45:17 PM »
So I tried the zep floor wax trick on my old silver plastics and it did wonders so I thought id try it on my new black plastics in hopes to keep them in top notch condition, but it didn't turn out so well so now I need to get it off without ruining my plastic! Any ideas?

Take to car wash and spray tire & wheel cleaner (fluorescent green color) on plastics and let soak, rinse and repeat if need. Works for pledge wax that I use. When applying wax if you can find a sprayer that will allow coverage like a spray paint it goes on better without streaking. Light mist without allowing it to run. Hope this helps.

Get some floor wax stripper ...mix it 50/50 with water and put it in a spray bottle.....Go to the car wash...Spray the stripper on ...let it sit for a few and then spray it off.....It will come right off.....
