Do you know if the CR500 linkage would work on a stock 86 frame and swing arm? Would I have to make some modifications for it to work? I have a 1990 CR500 linkage in the shop but I haven't tried bolting it up.

It came off of a 1987 with a stock Swingarm . It did not appear to be modified in anyway.

What? How can this be? The length would be wrong and the ratios would be off. The upper mount on the frame would need modification at the least

I purchased a quad and a bunch of parts and this came with it . The guy said he ran the CR500 link on that quad with a stock Swingarm. That is all I can go by because I never personally ever used it.

Any identifying marks on it? You might be able to call Pep and see what they set it up for.  I have a credit link frame I need a rear shock for
