windows 8 is the worst...
« on: July 21, 2013, 07:35:13 AM »
anyone else finding windows 8 to be a pain in the you know what?  these app things do nothing but cause problems.  when you are moving the cursor around it will regulary switch to the apps or show date &time etc.  it is a huge nuisance.   windows 7 was a day at the beach in comparison.

8 blows. loaded it for about 5 minutes and then pulled those drives out of my PC and put my win 7 array back in.

8 is really dumb.  Windows 7 is the best OS out IMHO.   Windows 7 is Windows Vista with SP1 basically.

Windows is great if you know how to use it properly. MAC is also great. Both systems have their advantages and disadvantages. You need to do your due diligence to keep your Windows machine from running like dog crap after a few years. If you are one of those people who just click next, next, next, yes, yes....when installing stuff. Then don't get a Windows box.

But yes Windows 8 is absolute garbage, Windows 7 is a very good OS

Or you could just run Linux like me :)

XP is possibly the best OS of all time. No shame in running WinXP Tony
