Called CT Racing today and they want $25 per o-ring "due to the size and material."  Anyone else have another cheaper source for these or is $25 the going rate?

5-1/2 ID and 5-11/16 OD
And it is 3/32" thick

I bought one from Trevor (TLR) a few years back. It was the o-ring and the five stainless bolts for something like $11 if I remember correctly.

Normally a Viton O ring will do better being it'll take heat better. http://www.theoringstore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=367_79_83&products_id=3585

Thanks!

Now that we have the size and some options - let's discuss which option (material) would be the best.

Viton will be the best for the application.

Agreed but both will work. I would just order a couple of each to make sure they are what fit your cover.

Thanks guys.  I'll order a couple and try them out.  For peace of mind, has anyone actually ordered either of these specifically?  And how did they fit / work?
