Thanks to the OP for the go pro vids. They turned out great. I feel sorry for you guys. Your dunes are so boring. Whats up with the big wrong way signs?

Directional traffic so you don't get blown out by someone coming up the back of a hill. Half the dunes are one direction, unless you can't make it up the hill then you can turn around

Isn't that what flags are for? Our hills are 3 times as steep. And the dune buggies can take you out in a heartbeat. I guess thats why were called the wild, wild west. We have no direction here. Sorry, but it seems so boring.

Our dunes are 2-3 square miles tops. Your parking lot is probably bigger.  First time i have been to the dunes in 10 years. I could not even get in 5th gear. I ran out of sand.  I like the trails better you can ride half the state.

That motor seems like to much to just waste away on trails. You should send it out here to the coast so we can play with it in the dunes here. Ha ha I wish I had your skills to make something like that motor. Should be awesome on the trails to with all that torque.

flags dont do squat. what does "boring" have to do with trying to cut down on traumatic injuries from people on quads getting ran over by jeeps/buggies?

Looks and sounds like she's running great!

Bi-directional traffic absolutely sucks. A friend of a friend died in West Virginia at Hatfield McCoy when his dirt bike collided with a RZR. How are you supposed to confidently go 100% when you have no clue what's around the next blind corner? F*ck that

We never go ballz out on the first run anywhere on the dunes. The first time you do that and your in for a 100 foot fall which you and your bike will not withstand. We always make a trial run and then go full sail after seeing who would be in the way. I was young and stupid once. Quit being stupid when I broke my Pelvis running from the noise police.

Take a trip to to Hatfield McCoy and you'll understand. It's always a coin flip to see who gets to lead the pack. The dunes change shape all of the time, the mountains and trees don't.

You should be able to go 100% without having to worry. Bi-directional traffic is a terrible idea.

There's so much area you could never have bi directional traffic, it's not like it's just one small are you go from the parking lots out on the east side or middle in the case of Winchestor. Areas are steeper then others as well.
