not sure how this works but aparently the truck drives itself. pretty cool i thought and that it got out of what appeared to be high centered in the front and back. still the fuel milage sucks ass at 23mpg highway

23mpg is not terribly  bad for highway.  Consider  the size of truck  an engine.  Keep  off the pedal an I'm  sure it wil be better

I bought the 2015 bout 6 months ago, was gonna wait for the 2016 but they changed a few things up and don't like to buy the first year of a new model. 2016's come with a 3.5ltr with more hp than the previous 4.0. They are great trucks

Those Tacoma's are absolutely indestructible. The hill descent feature is pretty cool.

The new Canyon/Colorado has the same feature, but I haven't seen a test of a 2016 model yet.

Great to see some competition in the mid-size truck market

I don't think that truck is going to dig its self out of soft Hawaii sand. Being that the truck was on a slope helps. Install lockers. Done deal

Even with lockers I've managed to swamp stuff or get buried especially in deep mud holes.

never heard of anybody getting stuck going down hill so the uphill slope seems appropriate. although it would be interesting to intentionally get stuck going backwards up the hill and see if it could get unstuck going up the hill

Looks like its in good shape still, very nice. A buddy of mine had an 86 no lift and the smallest tires u can get on it. U would not believe the things we put that truck through n it took all of it with a smile.
that little 22r motor was amazing
