The bottom part of the sleeve broke off and got wedged in between the crank and the case, locking my motor down yesterday. The piston  is only a few rides old and the motor ran good, I guess there was just to much slop and it broke a small pice of the skirt off also. It is a esr310 Is this worth having re sleeved or not.  Also this motor has a hot rods crank and on the rod it has ck109b. Even using a 190 spacer plate the piston stuck out of the cylinder. I had to put extra gaskets on the spacer plate to keep the pistion from hitting the head. Is this a +4 Stroker crank, I bought this bike with a bad piston  this is why I do not know what crank it is or the history of it.

It looks like it could be a stroker crank. The large side of the rod looks to be cut down. The stroker cranks come this way for case clearance.

Doesn't look like any port work has been done. I'd say punch it out and go big bore if possible.

What about the bottom part of the sleeve being broke off ? The cylinder walls are not scared up.

I say it needs a sleeve. Call esr.

I say the crank needs rebuilt. If it is a stoker crank, it does not mean the cylinder was modified for the crank. The extra stroke gives no more power and leads to problems like you are having. The long rods stroker cranks wear out quick. You might want to go back to a stock stoke crank. You may want to split the cases to see if the sleeve got down there and caused more damage than already observed.

Thanks for the replys, I think that's what I'll do. Tear the motor down to check it out and just go back with a stock stroke crank and start all over, at least I'll know what I have after that. I'm having a tough time getting ahold of esr I don't know cost wise if it's worth re sleeving or just buying another cyl kit.

If your cylinder was set up for a stroker crank the ports will be wrong if you install a stock stroke crank.

Is it possible you were using a short rod piston in there? That may be why it was sticking through the top of the cylinder.

I'm not sure ESR only offers one pistion, and I am using the spacer plate that ESR recommends.

With the cost of new ESR cylinders, no question I would buy a brand new cylinder kit. Just make sure you have the right combo of crank, piston, and head this time
