How does that set up compare to your sphinx?

I'd say the the hybrid Sphinx is about two quad lengths faster the my 350. But this in straight line drags or the big cinder hills. The crap Sphinx I bought before yours was about the same as the 350.

I used to have a Esr 330 +4 stroke few years ago and now have a sphinx 363 and its a night and day difference in power from top to bottom. Both being mid-top ports. I liked my 330 stroker but in love with the noticeable difference of the sphinx. I say save up for a few months and do it right the first time. Its an occasional ride but you want it to put the biggest smile on your face as possible without breaking the bank. Imo the extra funds for a sphinx 363 is well worth it. Just make sure you go with a known builder.

I've decided I'm going to send my current 330 to bubba Ramsey for a port job, cut a new dome, bore and fit new piston. Then I'm going to start gathering some parts for a new build for next year that way I'm not so rushed and end up getting something I'm not sure of... I'm going to try and get the new ESR cases new set of gears Yukon or something similar and I'm going to go with a 350 and 4 mil crank and send it out somewhere.

That sounds like a great plan to me. Bubba ports some mean motors

You better get a hold of Bubba and get on the list. He is busy all the time. Especially with tax refunds, he will be booked for months.

I spoke with him yesterday and I am on the list he's thinking it will be back in my hands mid March.  That will give me 2-3 weeks to get her broke in

This is a little bit of a slower time for Pete at hybrid. He just got mine done in 2 weeks. It might be worth your time to give him a call. He is a great guy to deal with.

I decided on building the 363 amd Pete @ Hybrid is building the whole thing.. I was wondering what kind of gearing you all were running?   I had 13/38 on my 330 and it seemed pretty nice but figured with the new motor maybe I'd change it up?  Also how many of you guys with the 350 and 363 are running stock transmissions? Any problems with them?

Seems like I ran a 14/38 with a 22" 8 paddle hauler, and I also ran a stock cyroed transmission without any issues well I had the setup.

How much do you weigh and what tires are you running? I liked 13-39 on a 343 with 71+ R/O 22x11x8 SLS 10 paddle Extremes weighing 210 or so.

With my gear on I am 170-175 and in the dirt I ride gncc holeshots 20x10-9. And in the sand I ride skat trek haulers 20x10-8 8paddle
