Hey guys got a bike I'm looking at and can't tell which kit is on it. The owner doesn't know much since the mods were done before he bought it. He did say it is a 350. Puma, Sphinx, old gen esr?

That looks like some kind of modified stock cylinder to me.

That's an OEM cylinder. Not 350, not Puma or Sphynx either

The guy swears it is a 350. I didn't think u could get 350cc out of a stock cylinder either. Tough gamble for me to buy sight unseen and ship...

My hopes were up that it was the fabled "hondaris" or "polonda" motor LOL. That would have been cool as

Looks like someone just ground the casting imperfections off of it. I wouldn't trust it.

Looks like a modified stock cylinder to me.  If if is a 350 the bore will be too close to the studs unless the studs have been moved.  Most of the exhaust port is still air cooled.  Any cylinder with 21st century two stroke technology will have have a water jacket around the whole exhaust port.

Probably. But I'd stay further away from the seller of this bike.

How would it be modified so the rear base studs are taller?

They weld ears on to the base  they do it all the time to the lt500's.
