Getting off topic here while I wait for the first of Dec, no new pics until the exhaust is done. So I thought I would post a couple of pics of my weapon of choice for the dirt. I built this about 5 years ago and love it. 06 CRF450r frame with a 96 CR500 engine with the throw back 86 style plastics and graphics.

Finally bringing this to Arlan tomorrow. Everything is 100% done other than the exhaust. Got my head back with the compression release and my front bumper back from polishing.

Nice build!

Thanks. I had a hard time making the cut in the fender for the kick starter, because the plastics are so damn nice, but it had to be done. The other side will need some trimming for the pipe to clear as well. Decided to go with the raw finish on the pipe, no chrome, I just like the look of the raw pipe. Hopefully I can keep it looking good for a long time. Nothing but waiting left now, Arlan expects it to be about a month before I get back. I'll post pics when I get it back, then a video after the first trip. Can't wait!

Gun oil or atf work great when I had my Shearer make sure you coat after riding for a day on the coast. Is it going to be the zuki left side pipe or a trx right hand style?

Thanks for the tip. The pipe will come out the left side.

Beautiful job on the hybrid Richard. That pipe looks really good on there with the raw finish.
