On a quick side note, Tony, you see in the pics how the shrouds have atleast an inch gap from sealing off to the radiator? And that's in the back of the RAD, not in the front. These shrouds are doing nothing other than looking good.

I made them , did not design them.

I don't recall mine having such a gap.

What length shocks do these arms require? How much were they from LS? Jon is a LS dealer. Maybe down the road we buy LS products that through him.

You aughta post your full review in the "Suspension" sub forum so its easier for people to find when they search for suspension related info. It also unclutters the lounge, which should be designed to discuss 'off topic' subjects that either don't involve the 250R or 250r related topics that don't have a specially dedicated sub-forum like "suspension" or "pics and vids".

Here goes: Start of Full Review:

I will go through progress pics and installation before I got into further review of form fit and function.

Installation:
Level of Difficulty: mild to moderate

Comments: These are not much different to install than any other a-arms. The bushing mounts are very close tolerances though so they fit in the frame mounts rather tight.

Tips: A rubber mallet, a flat punch, and a hammer are very helpful for installation. The flat punch and hammer to open of the frame mounts slightly. The rubber mallet for gently persuasion.

Now onto the pics.

Style:
I think LSR did a great job updating the look of these a-arms. The upper arm looks the same as before, but the lower arm utilizes a cross blended 2-into-1 tube on the bottom. The upper arms use heim joints as before and do a great job at adjusting the caster to your preference. Paint also appeared well done. Notice in the pics, they also have an integrated design for the lower shock mount, which I really like. Smooth and sleek.

Technology:
Here is the slight bit of bad news. I am a little disappointed that LSR has not worked any of their advancement that they have in other model a-arms into the ones for our 250Rs, like the quick caster adjustment. I would have like to have seen that on these arms. The other things is they don't use the quick camber adjustments on these arms anymore either. I used to have a set of their +3+1 standard travel arms and they came with the quick camber adjustment. I found this very helpful. I feel these arms should have that as well.

Function:
To be determined. This installation is not yet complete, so they have not been tested in the field yet. This will come soon. I will be taking them out to the local mx track to test them along with my new custom axis long travel shocks. I realize that the shocks will make the most difference so I will try my best to stay objective to the arms or give feedback on how they work together.

ETC- If anyone has any questions, feel free to post them. Overall so far, I feel that LSR makes great products, including these arms, and I thank Jon (Spiritaces) for hooking me up with them. For those of you that don't know, Jon has recently become an Lonestar certified dealer. He is a great guy and will be getting plenty more of my business.

Yes, I miss the quick adjust camber. They use 19.25" shocks roughly.
