Cr stator adjustment on mounting plate?
« on: March 28, 2022, 10:58:33 PM »
Got this ignition several years back and finally getting around to installing.  Previous owner removed the lower bolt “button” , or I’ve heard it called a cap too, so that stator can move ~10-15 degrees. There was a line scratched on the stator and these pics are with that line, lined up with the mark on the adapter plate.  Does this look right?
Looking at the crank end, it looks like previous owner had the stator turned as far clockwise as it would go, another 1-2 degrees than in these pics.

Dang it, no idea why the pic rotated 90 degrees.  I tried to rotate it 90 degrees and repost and it didn’t rotate this time.

Not knowing the previous owners setup (maybe you do?)…Id start with it centered in the slot.
