Frame/sub went to the powder coater this week, looks like about 2 week wait. Still have to get front shocks, rebuild for the rear and new plastic. Probly go with white Maier full fenders with a black FW hood and Dfr graphics. The motor has about an hour on new crank, head, cyl and piston, however I have a 12.1 Cp thats looking pretty tempting! Also looking on the Led web site, his porting options look tempting as well. Direct quotes from the site" Our goal is to perform services that will meet the needs of our customers" We do not force a "One-Size fits All" engine package onto our customers because there isn't a type of engine that will suit everyone." Also,a custom build pipe would be nice too,but we will see how the new job goes, plus xmas will be coming up shortly!

Sounds like we're both in the same stages on our builds haha.

originally when I dropped everything off at the powder coater's he said " Oh yeah, I can have it ready in 2 weeks." But it's been about a month now and come to find out the chrome parts I had, which were a lot, gave him a hard time some he had to send it off to a chromer to be completely stripped.

Nice choice on the DFR graphics BTW! I live up the freeway from them and those guys have always supported ATV MX so they get a lot of my business. I just talked to Sam the Mad Scientist and he's in the middle go designing the new 2014 kits. I dropped off my Fullbores so he can make templates for skins/kits.

Cant wait to see some more progress pics, what colors are you going with BTW?

LOL,my pc guy said the same thing when I did the Laeger,5 weeks later it was done..I will have some more pics tomorrow, even though I said very little polished part, that went right out the window! Spent a couple hours polishing hubs, spindles and my radiator. Just got my Houser bar clamp and a few other things in the mail today that need polished too.
Im going to leave the swingarm, lower arms and nerfs textured black, with black Dwt champions. As far as graphics,color/design will be similier to there white and blue kit,but I really want almost full coverage front and rear,on top of white Maier full fenders since I cant find white Fullbores..lol
Mirror White will be the frame and sub frame color of choice. I always do typical Honda colors but this one will be different,Ive always liked  the look of white frames but never had the guts to do it..haha

Sounds like a solid scheme man. You'll love the look of the white frame. It took me a while to contemplate it also on my first YFZ white PC frame, but I bit the bullet and it was actually easier to keep clean than what I thought. I'm pretty damn anal about keeping my bike clean though so I never had any issues. The frame on my Laeger CRF was white as well and like my old YFZ , it cleaned up really easy with a power sprayer.

How exactly are you polishing your aluminum parts? I'm curious because I'd like to clean up the stuff I'm putting back on my bike as well. I'm really not looking for a shiny look, just a good clean surface look...

The last 4 quads I've done I kept saying I'd do white and it never happened so I finally convinced myself..Haha
Theres a polishing thread on here that I will bump that has some good info, keep in mind Im no Pumashine when it comes to polishing..lol..What I use is a bench grinder with 2 buffing wheels, one is a sewn style(stiffer) and a non-sewn. I will do first stage with the sewn and I like to use the stainless stick polish first and then move to the softer wheels and mothers for the final polish. Theres different stages of the stick polish to use also. But for a simple garage polish this seems to work best for me,again, see Puma for a professional polish..lol

Quick picks, nothing is tightened up yet. Sent a few more things to powder. Still unsure on the polished spindles, may just have them coated black.

Looks real good.  Could go either way on the spindles.....me personally would leave them polished.  If they were in poor shape I would have them coated.

Rear shock will be sent off this week for seals, bumper and service. Still looking for 19" Axis, prefer piggyback, and atleast dual adjust but will take non-piggys and I will just have the short hoses and piggy clamps put on. Also looking for white Fullbore,(arent we all!!) but will probly have to settle for Maier. Will have parts back from powder this week, hopefully find some time this week to get more done but work isnt cooperating.
