John Glann makes some pretty kewl coolers! He even has'em for brake lines!
He does a 4 bearing conversion for front hubs, and a carrier that takes 4 bearings. I get about 3 years on his carriers. He just mods oem carriers.
He also makes a slider and a rear chain guide. I've ran tho ones on this bike for 5 years now...they just dont wear lol

Taking it out on Saturday, doing some open land riding with the kids.I didn't get to ride it when I picked it up(too many people at the truck stop) but it would consistently fire up in 1-2 kicks. If you stabbed the throttle it would flat bog and die, roll into it and it wasn't to bad,but still way rich. Pulled the carb yesterday and the was NO main jet in it,yes I said NO main jet at all,LOL. Im sure whoever just overlooked it when the assembled/cleaned the carb last, but all I could do was laugh! I fattened up the pilot, threw in a main and adjusted the A/F along with a new plug and fresh air filter, she purrs like a kitten now! I will play around with the adjustable Vortex cdi as well. Clutch side cover has a small drip, which it looks like I will have to atleast unbolt and move the motor forward to access that. No big deal,I wanted to pull and lube the pivot bolt anyways. It will also allow me to double check what supposed to be a new clutch and steel Hinson basket. I want to find a "cleaner" way to solve the intake boot issues. Right now its using a yfz450 airbox and boot, which connects to a say 4" long slight curved cooper tube, then to carb. The airbox is slid all the way back, and honestly its alot better then some if the no-link airbox setups I have seen. Some have said the yfz boot should have enough clearance to connect straight to the carb but it really doesn't look like it. Normally I would just ditch the box and put an eliminator on it but I think it will see quite a bit of woods duty! If anybody has an idea Im all ears!

I think they are all the same, the yfz not yfz-r, that is.  Yea just about finish with the box design, ordering 10 of them to start, they are made to use the yfz boot, works perfect on the hybrids.  Dan has a similar one on his bike.  I've got orders for 6 tanks so I'm going to be getting a run of those done as well.

Ah,yfz, thought you meant YZ,yfz is what I got now but they used a spacer tube. When I had the box and carb out it looked like the intake boot would be into the rear shock. I will head out to the garage and check this out here in a few! Sounds good on the box, just keep me posted!

I think he uses the 04-05 yfz intake boot and the pro design airbox kit to mount up to the aluminum airboxes he uses
