Me and a few friends of mine have a small oval track carved into the woods. Im the one on the 250r my buddy taking the video is on a banshee thats all done up (4mil stroker with port and polish, +2 suspension yadda yadda)

so there were 5 riders, buddy on the tuned up banshee, stock banshee, stock yz 450r, stock 300ex, my +2 suspension 250r

cool.  surprised that 250r didnt eat that banshee on that short track.

There was a stock banshee and my friends worked banshee. The stock I was able to pass in a couple races, the worked one just had too much power. I also had to run in 1st gear, which with stock sprockets left me topping out too early on the front and back stretch, I have a bigger rear sprocket (i believe 41 or 42 tooth) which im gonna try out

I thought the track was fairly wide myself.

I definitely think you could've held off the banshee, doesn't look like an all top end track you were on.

Both of us run in 1st gear the whole time, so we're mostly in 1/2 to full throttle range. He also has raced since he was a child, never quads but always a dirt car. Experience helps as well, no one else but him has real racing experience.

I'll try to get some better pics once we smooth the track out a bit more, its wider then the video leads on. But its no more then 3 quads wide in the widest section

I think you need to throw some stock front shocks on her and do some adjusting on the rear shock and change your gearing to a 14/39, and lay into the corner at wide open and use your clutch and brake and throttle all at the same time you could have had first and that banshee would of been behind you man. I ran a flat track circuit for a few years and it wasn't always the biggest motor that won it was who could get the quad into the track the best. I ran no sway bar and just did tires and had done some shock things and most of the guys I raced with hated me because I could corner my R better than there set up machines that were for that style of racing, The same goes for my buddy who is a member on here also. We both ran just tt tires and no sway bar and our mx setup except with some changes to our shocks, and he was up front all of the time.

No new video unfortunately. I ran the same setup as before but the track was better set up so i got one feature win under my belt haha

try a lowering kit.  its a cheap way to get your quad flat.  then you will eat banshee.
