Anyone looking for a great builder I highly recommend the following.
For CP products dealers I would recommend:
Arlan at LED(site sponsor), Pete Schemberger at Hybrid Engineering, Mat Shearer at Shearer Custom Pipes, Dennis Packard at Packard Racing, and Nate McCoy of McCoys Peformance.

Other great builders I also would recommend: Neil Prichard, Jerry Hall, Bubba Ramsey and James Dodge.

Frits Overmars Scavenging I believe, I know Frits Overmars is who designed it and he is the guy on the right in the picture above. He is another Aprilla engineer\
That cylinder was made on a 3D printer!

Those 3D printers are crazy!!!!! Oh, you need a new cylinder? Let me pull up the specs and print you one out. Some day in the future we'll be printing everything.

3D is definitely the future but we are still in its early stages, if I remember frits was not the happiest with the properties unless I was thinking of another cylinder that done by a different shop. One had excellent luck the other not so great :(

Just crazy to think someone printed a cylinder, as a matter of fact it's absolutely 'effin nuts!!!! I'm sure with time it'll only improve but I had no idea, just thought they were making cups and spatulas and such with them. Some awesome threads you come up with!!!

Until people stop using paper for packaging it won't. Just need to redirect your efforts.

I know there are some badass 3D printers out there doing amazing stuff, but why does it look like there is casting marks on those?

I see those cast like marks but just like a program for a cnc machine those lines can be accidentally left during modeling, some of the programmers around here can better explain that than me.

What are the small holes around the top above where the sleeve would be. Coolant passages? Does the head fit into it?

The head insert drops down in and those are water passages, I added a picture showing water flow, also notice how water cools the inside transfer ducts

i believe the frits cylinder is up and running atleats thats how i understood it. he said something about having a bike at some race and it won so i assumed it was his new design. it was predicted to surpass the rsa performance  :encouragement:  wish i knew even a fraction of what that guy knows
to much power is almost enough
