Stabilizer and skid plate below. Has a drain built in for the overflow

Have a few small updates. Mounted a coolant tank. These are a must have in the desert. The extra capacity won't hurt either.

Very nice who made the tank?

Not sure. Cost $50 from a hot rod shop down the street. Might have been used.

Nice use of space. I have a question, is that the filler cap for the whole coolant system. Or is it just a overflow reservoir.

Just the reservoir fill cap. Needs a window or something to check the fluid level. Will have to figure that out later.

Nice work SD. It would have to be an overflow/expansion reservoir seems it's lower than the top of radiator.

Yea. It works from pressure so it doesn't really matter where it's mounted.

Look at go kart stuff they have similar set up. They use a clear hose running vertically with a 90 degree fitting at the bottom and top tapped into reservoir. U can see the fluid level at a quick glance.

Yea I thought of that. Definetly the best option. I guess for now I will just stick my finger in there between rides and make sure it's about 3/4 full. Lol

I would like to say that it was but the original poster hasn’t been on the forum in 7 years
