Yup you can just use Moog ball joints and they are even grease-able and very cheap compared to ordering thru laegers. Here is a link from the other site with the information you need.

Laegers and the other top end brands running 16mm use FRAP brand ball joints.  Most of the 14mm (early years) use OCAP brand.  The Moogs are nice and certainly can withstand a beating but beware that the dust cap is not sealed to the tie rod.  This design can let mud/water in pretty easily when the suspension is fully extended.  I just went through this.  Ended up finding 14mm OCAP through Autoplicity.  Also, the 16mm Moogs are a perfect match....just didn't like the dust cap.  I didn't like the 14mm Moogs (OCAP equivalent) as the threads do not come up close enough to the tie rod body adding about an extra 1/4" to each side.
Shipping was very fast with both distributors below...

These guys have best price on Moogs...

I had actually ordered some Moog ball joints for my Laeger's from Amazon, but they didn't fit right. Mark Baldwin told me that the Moog ball joints don't have enough travel for the Laeger A-Arms that I have. Maybe I ordered the wrong ones, I don't know.

I actually ordered ball joints from Laeger (for my Laeger A-Arms), and they are not the same style that they used to use or that they show in the picture (imagine that!) so I ended up having to send them back, and Scott told me he would refund my money but didn't do it until I filed a claim with Paypal over a week and a half after he got the ball joints back.

I really try to give people the benefit of the doubt, and give them the chance to make things right.
IMO unless you are sure you have the right part you are better off ordering from someone like Carlos or Mark Baldwin who know the 250R and know what you are talking about.

They might be able to point you to a non-atv dealer (auto parts whole seller).
http://balljointsrus.com/

You can figure out the PN by using this site...

If you are going to buy new from a ATV shop...I'd suggest these guys.  They are local to me and I can say that they are nice folks to deal with who make bang up products.

Hey guys I'M HERE! lets put a list together of the balljoints and i can list the appropriate Part #'s
I need to know:
Size & pitch of the thread (attaching to the end of the A-Arm)
Manufacturer of A-arm (with NEW or OLD style added)

Then I'll create a new posting and then Tony can make it a STICKY for us all to enjoy!

Sound like a plan ?

i drilled and tapped my laeger lower arms for the 16mm balljoints from ricky stator. it works great and didnt affect strength of arm at all i had a local shop that does tube chassis for drag cars put the arms in a jig 2drill and tap them their fab guy said he wouldnt worry about any strength loss. only cost me $50 for both lower balljoints and $25 to have them do it in a jig. he said he wouldnt do the uppers as they dont have as much meat on them where the balljoint goes. and having the different balljoints top and bottom dosent affect any of thr suspension travel.
