Hey guys, new guy here. Obviously just signed up here, been on the .net since I bought my first R last spring. Anyway, its nice to have another forum, I see a few familiar faces though. So far I like what Im seeing here. Anyway, I've been debating on what I'm going to do with my R, but I think I've finally settled on a Restomod style duner. I'm thinking factory graphics over my black fullbores, some small suspension upgrades, and maybe a bit more power. Not going to do any crazy engine work, I took my R to Silver Lake last summer and was hanging with a badass banshee so the quad has plenty of power. Anyway, good to be here!

Anyone looking for a great builder I highly recommend the following.
For CP products dealers I would recommend:
Arlan at LED(site sponsor), Pete Schemberger at Hybrid Engineering, Mat Shearer at Shearer Custom Pipes, Dennis Packard at Packard Racing, and Nate McCoy of McCoys Peformance.

Other great builders I also would recommend: Neil Prichard, Jerry Hall, Bubba Ramsey and James Dodge.

Here she is right before our Silver Lake trip last year. I'm currently living in Wyoming (the state, not wyoming michigan) so it was a long trip to Silver Lake. I'm from Michigan originally, used to ride Silver Lake a couple times a summer, last year was the first time I had gone in six years. It was also my first time there on a fast machine, so it was even more of a blast! Trying to move back to MI, but it doesn't seem to be happening.
BTW, does anyone recognize this pipe?

Thanks! When I first got the bike I didn't like the black plastic or the mx stickers at all. I removed most of the stickers, and now the black plastic has really grown on me. I think I'm going to keep it and put some factory graphics on it and powdercoat the frame red.
