Update on this project. I went on ebay and bought Honda TRX 450R Foot Pegs & Heal Guards---04-05 for $60 shipped. So the plan is to make a foot peg adapter for the 04/05. Another bracket that goes on the frame and secures the heel bucket. Once this is complete it will only take a small modification or none at all to use for the 06-13.

OK..........These are not as hefty as the ones Douglas made but I think they may look a tad better. I measured the height and were at 1/4" below OEM. As for front to back it matches the 450r. I will cut a pair of 3/8" thick tomorrow so you guys can see the end product. I ran out of battery on my camera. Sorry

Looks great Tony! I'm in for a set.. getting tired of the narrow RIS pegs so this makes moving to Roll pegs very attractive.

Got my camera charged. I am thinking we need to tap the front hole for a 10 MM bolt and order some OEM ones for the kits. 3/8" steel will give plenty of holding power for the 10mm bolt.

I checked about lowering pegs by 1/2" by swapping sides....actually raises them 1/2".. so that won't be happening unless both holes are moved down 1/2". Would have thread both those holes.

This is going to be great. Will love having wide pegs that don't move around and feal like they will fall off when I get on. And give every one a option for aftermarket pegs. I thank I bling star makes a set of pegs for a 450 that are -1 in. Will have to look into them if I need them to be lowered.for now stock 450r pegs will work. Or at least tell winter when she gets torn apart for restoration.

I ordered bolts so you guys can install these in a few minutes. Plan on just painting them black. These are the final parts made from 3/8" steel.

I ordered the bolts. I am still tapping the 10mm fine thread holes. Going to send all the parts off to get black anodized. So we are still a couple weeks out.

The black zinc turned out great.

Cost for the set of 3/8" thick adapters and bolts for foot peg adapters is $24. The stock flange bolt will need to be reused for the rear hole mount. $6 to ship puts the total cost at $30 for the set shipped.

I took a gamble and built 30 sets. There is a minimum of $80 on black zinc plate. The bolts come black iron but would rust once they got wet. The bolts were bead blasted clean and baked after plating to put the strength back in them. I will be putting them on the website this week.
